devoured a crime book this weekend. I forget how much reading fiction makes me want to write.

boarding our last plane, almost home after a fun and eventful weekend. NO was a blast but now it is back to work.

and it akes a lot to make me hate jazz...

so yeah, we will be writing a bad review of Snug Harbor as well. that hostess can go jump in a lake.

and then we walk right into Clarke Peters aka Lester the man Freeman from the Wire! awesomesauce!

the cab driver was awesome. he encouraged us to eat at Coops, but we saw a roach there so we moved on

made it to the original Cafe Du Monde. it is packed but fun.

bringing the wife to the french market may have been a mistake, she sees too many purses she likes.

napped too long, now want to hit the french qtr and see the sites on a New Orleans night.

ping is being stupid and not pushing out my updates...

hit up Mother's for lunch, now after strolling the River Walk I'm whiping the dusty sugar of Beingnets from my pants and ready for a nap.

landed in New Orleans, overall it was a pretty uneventful flight, which is usually better than the alternative.

made it to Huston, but cant hear a thing with all the sinus pressure in my head. forgot my sinuses hate me this time of year.

trying to be proactive about a problem at work may torpedo my plans to duck out early today. #Iammyownworstenemy

sleepiness hit me like a mack truck just now. i am going to have to really proofread these notes.

figured out if i talk slower and lean on my notes more i can actually end class on time and not early.

Is not operating at peak efficiency today. I need my brain to get it in gear.

Also, cue the talking heads as we wait for the Repubs. #SOTU

Alright black people, you can now turn to your DVR of The Game after performing the minimal civic duty for watching the SOTU

braving the snow to head home, its worse out than it looked from my office window.

Frustration: Finding the toy you paid $15 bucks for .99 cents at the thrift store. No more new baby toys.

Watching the worst movie with the Huddlestons, Great times!
